About the event
This webinar is designed for school teachers and aims to show, in a practical and educational way, the main differences between an upright biological microscope and a stereomicroscope through the observation of the same specimens. During the session, images and results obtained with the Silver 152 and SMZ 160 models will be compared, using different observation techniques such as: • Bright Field • Dark Field • Polarisation • Phase contrast (only on the upright microscope) The main idea of the webinar is to demonstrate how simple, easily available samples can become extremely effective teaching tools for introducing students and teachers to the world of microscopy. Speaker: Andreja Veluscek, Biologist
