Origins

Ligra's history began in 1968 as Modern Plastic, a company dedicated to the production of plastic products for premium brands in the fields of photography, furniture, stationery and audiovisual media such as, for example, FINS - the only Italian manufacturer of cinema screens.

In 1975, Modern Plastic won the prestigious Gold Mercury International Award.

In 1976 he became one of the world's largest producers of projection screens for brands such as Techno, Apex, Optex, Bonum and Jessop.

In 1994, Modern Plastic became Ligra, integrating the experience gained in previous years with a vocation for the distribution of Audio Video solutions, going on to set up two Business Units, one dedicated to the Education world (2008) and one to ProAV (2012).
