The Crest Audio® UA™ 2050 utility amplifier offers installers and contractors an economical, efficient and inconspicuous solution for background music and paging applications. The UA 2050's small form factor is perfect for mounting under counters, on the walls of cabinets or on shelves in retail, restaurant and office spaces. Despite its convenient size, UA 2050's features, versatility and power are ideal for any application where background music and paging are required.

The UA 2050 combines a pair of inputs with an efficient 50 Watt Class D mono power amplifier capable of driving a direct low-impedance output or a 70 V or 100 V constant voltage output. The amplifier has bass and treble controls to allow equalisation for any installation position.

The UA 2050's two inputs provide simple, hassle-free configuration for quick installation and easy operation. Input 1 is a balanced microphone or line-level input via barrier strip connectors with screw terminals. Input 2 is a line-level input via dual RCA connectors or unbalanced screw terminals. Level detection on input 1 mutes input 2 whenever a microphone signal exceeds the adjustable level threshold. It is also possible to disable the level detection function to prevent input 2 from mute.

The UA 2050 is housed in a conveniently sized steel frame to allow it to be mounted in any position and features a voltage selector switch for 120 V or 240 V AC operation.
